Sweetest Couple!

Just finished processing photos for a sweetheart couple.  This session was done in Clarksville, TN at their home.  Both of them are in the army and are set to get married in early April (I will be at their wedding too).  It was a fun session with lots of laughing and being goofy.  The way they look at each other can simply take your breath away.   It was a joy to be able to witness this first hand.  Photographing pets can be a challenge sometimes, but their cute little furry doggie did very well.  I was very pleased.  We added a few maternity photos in there as well.  This engagement session was definitely one of my favorites.  I wish them both nothing but happiness and love in their lifetime as a family.

Had a wonderful time with this family... their kids are so well behaved and followed directions to the letter.  It was fun to make them laugh and ask them questions to get different expressions from the 15 month old, that I made animal noises too, to their 7 year old that was, at first, shy... but quickly came out of his shell.  Such a delightful family.

Cutest Little Girl with the Curliest of Hair

Just finished and posted photos of the cutest little girl.  Siena is so full of life.  She's so active and energetic, with a deep soul.  Very serious at times.  I have been taking photos of her since she was 1 week old and have really loved watching her grow into the spunky 3 year old she is today.  Just wished we all lived closer, they are still at our last duty station.  It's been difficult, but we've managed to arrange photos every time they come our way or we come theirs.  This photo shoot was an extra long one.... done inside and out.  She did a fabulous job!  She is a little challenging because she has a quick smile that is usually done when she is moving (in the opposite direction of the camera).  But I enjoy the portraits of her serious face as well.  Wish I knew what is going on in that little mind of hers... she is so thoughtful.  Looking forward to the next time I am able to capture that little girl and all her curls.

Hello!  Back in Clarksville, TN after a few weeks visiting friends and family.  We traveled to a few places in Missouri and then Illinois.  Weather was great... got a few photos of my boys in the snow.  Itching to get back to work, but enjoying time off with family.  Hope everyone has had a great new year...

I've been asked by a few clients to start blogging about my sessions.. but never seemed to have the time. Made the choice to 'MAKE' the time and begin telling about sessions I had and life in general so you can get to know me a little better too. Should be exciting. And so... the blogging begins.
